FEMA Funeral Benefits

On April 12, 2021, FEMA began accepting applications for financial assistance for funeral expenses incurred after Jan. 20, 2020, for deaths related to coronavirus (COVID-19), to help ease some financial stress and burden caused by the pandemic.

Stop Texas Eviction Tool

Do you live in Texas and can’t afford your rent? Are you afraid your landlord will evict you? We are here to help. Stop TX Eviction is a new online portal intended to help you understand your rights and the eviction process, and locate rent assistance to get caught up.

Make sure to click “Get Started now” if you would like to:

  • Get legal information about the eviction process and your rights.
  • Get access to important documents you can give to your landlord or the court.
  • Apply for legal assistance from organizations in your area that provide free legal services to qualifying tenants.
  • Find out about rental assistance and other resources in your area and how to apply.
  • Chat with a real lawyer about your questions regarding eviction.
