Woman in her late 40s needs assistance with a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Client has experienced some recent financial difficulties as well as some on-going financial restraints that Client believes that a Chapter 7 bankruptcy will provide much need financial relief. The majority of her debt is approximately $30,000 in medical debt. She has other debt including a previous debt judgment and credit card debt. Client does have some difficulty identifying all of her possibility debt, and LSLA has obtained her credit report. Client was recently divorced, and she has a child support obligation. She also has student loans that she understands is not dischargeable under the bankruptcy. Client's primary income is her social security disability income, but she has some supplemental income as a Uber / Lyft driver. Client is concerned that she may lose her disability income.
