I am embedded on-site at the University of Houston Family Clinic to provide direct Medical-Legal Partnership outreach. In this role, I meet with patients in person to explain the MLP model and the legal services offered by Lone Star Legal Aid, identify unmet legal needs that affect health and stability, and connect patients to legal resources and representation. This outreach strengthens collaboration between medical providers and legal services to address social determinants of health.
