Rocking for Justice: Thank You, Law Rocks Houston & Andrews Myers

Last night, the Houston legal community showed up in a big way. Not just to rock, but to give back.

Lone Star Legal Aid is proud to have been a beneficiary of this year’s Law Rocks Houston, an annual event that brings together bands made up of legal professionals to raise funds for local nonprofits.

This year, we had the honor of being represented by Little Victories, a band featuring legal talent from Andrews Myers. They didn’t just take the stage, they showed up with energy, heart, and a deep commitment to access to justice.

Because of their efforts and the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, and supported, over $23,000 was raised to support Lone Star Legal Aid’s work. They also won the Judges’ Choice Award!

That impact is real.

Those funds will help us continue providing free civil legal services to low-income individuals and families across our service area, helping people stay in their homes, escape violence, access critical benefits, and rebuild after a crisis.

To the team at Law Rocks, thank you for creating a space where the legal community can come together in such a powerful and creative way. Your mission to support nonprofits and promote giving through music is something truly special.

To Andrews Myers and Little Victories, thank you for choosing Lone Star Legal Aid, for putting in the time to rehearse, fundraise, and perform, and for using your platform to make a difference.
