FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HOUSTON, Texas (June 12, 2026) — Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) proudly announces that attorney Fallon H. Vaughn has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, one of the highest honors bestowed upon members of the State Bar of Texas.
Vaughn serves as an attorney in LSLA’s Civil Matters in Criminal Justice Unit, where she provides legal representation and advocacy to individuals facing civil legal issues connected to involvement with the criminal justice system. Through her work, she helps clients overcome barriers to housing, employment, public benefits, and economic stability, ensuring they have meaningful opportunities to rebuild their lives and move forward.
Election as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation recognizes outstanding professional achievement and a demonstrated commitment to improving the administration of justice throughout Texas. Less than one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows each year, making membership one of the legal profession’s most prestigious distinctions.
Throughout her career at Lone Star Legal Aid, Vaughn has worked tirelessly to ensure that individuals impacted by the criminal justice system have access to high-quality civil legal representation. Her work helps remove legal obstacles that can prevent individuals and families from achieving stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success.
The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the United States. Founded in 1965, the Foundation supports programs that enhance the rule of law and improve the administration of justice throughout Texas. To date, the Foundation has awarded millions of dollars in grants to nonprofit organizations providing legal services, education, and assistance to Texans in need.
