to low-income United States military veterans, their dependents, and surviving
spouses. Join us at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center on the first and third
Fridays of every month, starting October 4, 2024. Stop by the Conference Room
in Building 202 to speak with one of our attorneys. We are here to help.

Speaking with local community partners about changes to the eviction laws in Texas and about state wide expunction and nondisclosure grant in Texas.
The Grateful Plate is a free community meal prepared from food donated by our neighbors, for our neighbors that is sponsored by Stone Soup Nacogdoches – a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to alleviate hunger and food insecurity by preparing and distributing meals, primarily using donated ingredients, to individuals and families in need, including those experiencing homelessness.
Interfaith of The Woodlands and CarePartners® have partnered to host the semiannual Caregivers Conference, an educational event designed to support and empower caregivers in our community. This conference offers caregivers access to valuable resources and information that are often difficult for family caregivers to obtain. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in professionally led workshops focused on building skills and addressing the diverse challenges, interests, and needs of caregiving. Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) will be present to share informational materials and connect community members with available resources.
